Floorpride - Carpet and Hard Flooring
Owner Alastair Murcott has combined a lifelong career in flooring with a genuine passion for sales and service. Starting in carpet retail, Alastair then spent 19 years working for leading manufacturers Feltex and Godfrey Hirst – gaining extensive trade and product knowledge before purchasing Floorpride in 2000.
Alastair makes a point of ensuring his staff – many of whom have been with him for years – also have this combination of strong product knowledge and practical know-how. He’s also aware that flooring is just one aspect of a great décor, so his trained sales staff will work with you to create personalised design concepts for one room or your entire home.
We employ a Dedicated Installation Team of 10 professional installers on our own staff and also use qualified sub-contractors as required. This ensures that Floorpride has the flexibility and capacity to meet demand and respond promptly. Expert planning and pre-cutting of jobs in the spacious workroom means you enjoy a quality job with minimal disruptions, and joins are kept to a minimum.
In response to the increasing number and variety of hard flooring options available, Floorpride has formed a Specialised Hard Flooring Department incorporating experienced staff and a Specialist Installation Team. You can check out the huge range of hard flooring here.
